Long Run To Inclusion 2026

In March 2026 Hotel Etico’s CEO and Co-Founder Andrea Comastri will run across New South Wales and the ACT, over 400kms, to connect Hotel Etico’s original home in Mount Victoria with our new Academies of Independence in Leura and Canberra, reaching Parliament House on World Down Syndrome Day (21st March) and then marching to Mercure Canberra, the site of or new Academy of Independence in the ACT.

The goal is to raise $400,000 , which will help Hotel Etico continue to train and employ 40 young people each year and continue the expansion to further academies around Australia.

Opportunities

  1. Make a donation.
  2. Join the virtual challenge (individually or as a team) and run, march, walk, swim, ride at least 21Kms each week during the month of March 2026 (and encourage your friends and family to do the same) in honour of Chromosome 21, the chromosome responsible for Down Syndrome
  3. Express you interest to be a sponsor of the event with cash or in-kind.
  4. Run a matching donations campaign up to a specific amount and/or for a specific time period.
